Stuart Boyer
Lead Pastor
After years of rebellion, trouble, and tribulation, during which time, I received a vision from the Lord in January of 1998, through which Jesus invited me into a relationship with Him, and I was born again and transformed. Immediately after, I found a church and got plugged into the fellowship of believers. I began teaching a home fellowship and serving in the church.
During the next season, I studied for years toward biblical education. I graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College, Horizon College of San Diego, Azusa Pacific University, and Luther Rice University. Lastly, I received a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
Just prior to this, I began working for Horizon San Diego in 2003 as part of the pastoral team. By 2005, I was the assistant pastor at Horizon Valley Center. It was there where I met my future bride, but we didn’t know it yet. Through a series of events, both tremendous trial as well as terrifically amazing, we were engaged to be married. By 2009, I became the lead pastor at Polson Alliance Church and moved to Polson Montana.
On April 17, 2010, I was married to my wife, Rosalie Luna. Since then, our family has grown, and we now have four daughters (5 if we include our dog named Tiggy).
My greatest joy as a Christian remains leading, discipling, mentoring, and coaching people toward learning transformational spiritual truths, and connecting them in lifestyle, embracing their spiritual gifts and calling, toward the betterment of communities, which glorify God.

Associate Pastor
What an incredible journey life has been and continues to be. I became a follower of Jesus when I was 8 years old, the night before Easter Sunday. I realized that fear of darkness and death no longer needed to keep me up at night. So, in my room, by myself, I got down on my knees, confessed with my mouth and believed in my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the grave three days later and I began a new life. From that sincere childhood decision to commit myself to Christ to the present I have experienced freedom from fear and an unfading desire to follow Jesus. I desire to know him in all the ordinary and extraordinary situations that life brings.
I met my wife, Jolene, while living and working in San Francisco. and we just celebrated 7 years of marriage. We welcomed our son, Will on December 10th, 2021 and he has been a fabulous addition to our family. Being a husband and father has brought to life so many aspects of our Heavenly Father that I now comprehend in a fresh way. His faithfulness through the seasons and how He works all things together for my good and His glory is a consistent testimony to his abundant faithfulness in my daily life.
Through the years I have been fortunate to attend an amazing collection of schools including: Cedar Park Christian in Bothell, WA for High School, Capernwray Harbour Bible School on Thetis Island, British Columbia, Tauernhof, another Capernwray Bible School in Schladming, Austria, Bellevue College, in Bellevue, WA, and Biola University in La Mirada, CA. These schools were formative in increasing academic knowledge and a greater understanding of the character of God!
Serving in different capacities in student leadership at Biola University and Capernwray Tauernhof, as well as most recently serving as the Youth Pastor at Christ the King here in Anacortes have been formational in confirming my continued calling to pastoral ministry.
In my spare time I enjoy sailing, fishing, biking, ultimate frisbee, mountain climbing, and spending time with Jolene and Will. I am excited to get to know all of you and join our lives in what Christ is doing here in Anacortes.
